Wilson Playfields*, Kent, Washington

Wilson Playfields were designed through a partnership with the City of Kent, Civil Engineer, Architect and Landscape Architect. Design features include a plaza, storage/restrooms/concession building, viewing terraces, bleachers built into the grades, a cast-in-place retaining wall and incorporated multi-purpose use of baseball, softball, football, soccer track and field. Five acres of new synthetic grass surfacing and a full sub-surface drainage system were installed to allow all-season playability of the surface.

Martin Zollner developed the master plan and layout. He was responsible for the schematic design development and working drawings on the project, and coordinated site related items, as well as specifications and cost estimates.
